Lionel Massol and Pauline Seigland of Films Grand Huit (Ghost Trail), teaming up with Benoît Roland of Wrong Men (The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo), will bring Souveraines to the screen later this year.
She became well known for her role in Only the Animals (2019), directed by Dominik Moll. Her performance was praised for being sensitive and real. Both critics and audiences admired her work.
The short film Little Hands (Les Petites Mains) brought Rémi Allier a César Award. Produced by Wrong Men and Films Grand Huit, it was screened at festivals like the Brussels Short Film Festival and nominated for the Magritte Awards.
The film follows Leo, a two-year-old boy whose father works as the acting manager of a chemical plant. When the workers learn the factory is about to shut down, anger and fear spread through the staff. One worker, Bruno, takes extreme action. He kidnaps Leo to force management into negotiations.
