
Ahead of its debut in the Panorama section of the 2026 Berlinale, Adrian Goiginger’s latest film, Four Minus Three, has secured global sales representation through Beta Cinema. The film’s first trailer was released today.
Rooted in reality and shaped by Barbara Pachl-Eberhart’s bestselling book, this cinematic retelling captures the essence of lived experience.
After a tragic car accident takes her family, Barbara, a professional clown, is left alone to face overwhelming grief. Her life, once filled with laughter and color, suddenly feels empty and silent. As she struggles to survive the pain of her loss, she also fights to hold on to her belief in humor and hope. Through her journey, Barbara must rediscover whether laughter can still have a place in her broken world.
Valerie Pachner leads the ensemble alongside Robert Stadlober, Stefanie Reinsperger, Hanno Koffler, and Ronald Zehrfeld.
Produced by Peter Wildling, Gerrit Klein, Martin Pfeil, David Stöllinger, and Adrian Goiginger. The film is backed by Austria’s 2010 Entertainment and Germany’s Giganten Film, with Alamode Film handling German distribution and Polyfilm releasing it in Austria.
