
The Shitheads stand out because it feels real. The conversations sound like everyday talk, not polished lines. The situations are raw and familiar, without any glamor. It shows life as it actually happens, not the way we wish it would. The characters speak straight, act on impulse, and often end up in messy chaos.
At first, Sheridan (Mason Thames) appears to be nothing more than a rebellious teen. He soon pretends to be sensitive and remorseful to win over his escorts. But once his true behavior emerges, it becomes clear he is cruel and manipulative, taking pleasure in exploiting others and showing no sense of right or wrong.
This story begins with a simple transport job that quickly falls apart when two struggling drivers are assigned to escort a wealthy teen to rehab. Their trip spirals into chaos, dragging them into a dangerous world of drugs and crime as their unpredictable passenger derails everything.
Macon Blair directs, with writing by Blair and Alex Orr, and stars Kiernan Shipka, Mason Thames, and Dave Franco. The cast also includes Dave Franco as Mark, O’Shea Jackson Jr. as Davis, Mason Thames as Sheridan Kimberley, Peter Dinklage, Kiernan Shipka, and Nicholas Braun as Pricka Bush Da Werewoof.
Blair’s debut feature, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, won the Grand Jury Prize (U.S. Dramatic) at Sundance 2017, and with The Toxic Avenger, he earned a nomination at the 2025 Austin Film Awards. He is also a prolific actor, best known for his roles in Oppenheimer and cult thrillers Blue Ruin and Green Room.
