With Jake Schreier’s anticipated X-Men reboot, rumors suggest Odessa A’zion (Marty Supreme) may portray Rogue, while Peter Claffey (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) could take on Beast.
In a conversation on The Hot Mic, Jeff Sneider revealed that Odessa A’zion is reportedly being considered to play Rogue in X-Men. This follows earlier rumors that two-time Golden Globe nominee Margaret Qualley was originally rumored to play Rogue.
Peter Claffey as Beast, with industry buzz in recent weeks highlighting Julia Butters as Kitty Pryde and Jack Champion as Cyclops.
In the writing department, Michael Lesslie (The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) was previously attached to script the film, but it now appears that Lee Sung Jin (Beef) and Joanna Calo (The Bear) are handling the screenplay.
That said, Jeff Sneider also suggests the project is unlikely to be the next film to begin production after Avengers: Secret Wars wraps, with Marvel Studios currently eyeing three potential release dates for the upcoming X-Men reboot in 2028: May 5, July 28, and December 15.
