Disney releases the first trailer for its live-action Moana remake, showcasing Dwayne Johnson’s return as Maui and Catherine Laga‘aia’s debut as Moana. Here’s everything revealed in the teaser.

Disney’s Moana (2026) trailer has been released. It is a live-action adaptation of the 2016 animated film Moana. In the original animated film, “After a blight spreads across her island, harming the plants and fish, Moana, the daughter of Chief Tui, travels across the sea to retrieve the heart of Te Fitti from Maui.”
