LaRoyce C. Hawkins, who has starred on NBC’s police drama Chicago P.D. since its debut, is stepping away as a series regular after an impressive 13‑season run.

According to Deadline, American actor and stand‑up comedian LaRoyce C. Hawkins will return in Season 14 of Chicago P.D. for the first two or three episodes to wrap up Kevin Atwater’s storyline before officially stepping away from the series.

Hawkins first stepped into the role of Kevin Atwater when Chicago P.D. premiered back in 2014, and over the course of thirteen seasons, he became one of the show’s most beloved and enduring figures.
