The American country singer-songwriter is keeping ticket prices simple by charging around $150 for every seat on his new arena tour. It’s up to fans to decide how they want to celebrate their favorite artists and how much they’re willing to spend.
According to the press release, “Every seat in the house, one fair price: $140 for the ticket, a $4 facility fee, and a $10 service charge, plus taxes.” Considering that Brooks is one of the world’s best-selling music artists, many fans believe the pricing is fair and justified.
Wondering what Brooks named his new tour? It’s the Blame It All on My Roots Tour, inspired by the famous opening line of his hit song Friends in Low Places. The tour begins this August with two back-to-back shows at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Get ready, Indy! Back‑to‑back shows land August 21 and 22, with tickets dropping Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. ET on Ticketmaster. Everything goes live at once—no presales, no early access—and each fan can snag up to eight seats.
Marking a return to his legendary 1990s arena roots, Garth Brooks is bringing back the iconic moving metal and plexiglass drum cage from his 1996 world tour. The performances will also be recorded for his upcoming live album, Killer Live. His latest studio album, Time Traveler, was released in November 2023.
Brooks revealed in a release, “Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box.” “The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy. Every seat is a great seat. This is personal.”
Last month, Brooks drew an estimated crowd of 70,000 fans to London’s Hyde Park. This time, fans will get the chance to see the Grammy Award-winning singer as his new arena tour rolls across the country.
At 64, Garth Brooks remains one of the biggest names in country music. Born Troyal Garth Brooks on February 7, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he has rewritten the record books with nine RIAA Diamond-certified albums, surpassing The Beatles’ record of six. His Diamond-certified releases include Garth Brooks, The Chase, In Pieces, The Hits, Sevens, and The Ultimate Hits, while No Fences, Ropin’ the Wind, and Double Live have also reached Diamond status after selling more than 10 million copies each.
Beyond his record-breaking album sales, Garth Brooks has enjoyed an extraordinary career filled with major honors. He has won two Grammy Awards, 17 American Music Awards—including the prestigious Artist of the ’90s title—and the RIAA Award as the best-selling solo albums artist of the 20th century in the United States.
