
Paramount+ confirmed that The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants will debut on the platform on February 17, following its theatrical release.

In this film, SpongeBob sets out on his boldest quest yet, determined to prove his courage to Mr. Krabs. His journey brings him face-to-face with the Flying Dutchman, a ghostly pirate whose antics launch SpongeBob and his friends into a hilarious ocean adventure far beyond Bikini Bottom.
This animated-live action blend features the return of the core voice cast, led by Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, alongside Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, and Mr. Lawrence. Joining them are George Lopez, Isis ‘Ice Spice’ Gaston, Arturo Castro, and Sherry Cola, with Regina Hall and Mark Hamill also lending their voices.
The SpongeBob SquarePants franchise, created by marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg, debuted on July 17, 1999. Today, it stands as a multi-billion-dollar brand and the longest-running American children’s animated series.
