“Felix the Brave,” an animated feature produced by Little Dream Entertainment and Amour Fou, with Red Parrot Studios attached, has added Sola Media as its sales agent. The film is set to unveil an exclusive teaser at the Cannes Film Market.

directed by Ali Samadi Ahadi, “Felix the Brave” unfolds in a world of beetles where Felix, a flea raised by rhinoceros beetles, grows up believing he belongs among them. His quiet life is shattered when a ruthless stag beetle army threatens the village, pushing Felix onto a perilous quest to seek the legendary Beetle Queen, said to hold the key to peace. Along the way, he is joined by Missy, a sharp‑witted dung beetle, and Toni, an eccentric bombardier veteran. Together, the mismatched trio clash, bond, and stumble through wild dangers that test their courage and loyalty. Through these trials, Felix learns that true bravery is not about strength alone—it can reshape his destiny and safeguard the future of his home.”

Iranian-German filmmaker Ali Samadi Ahadi made his feature directorial debut with the culture-clash comedy Salami Aleikum, which won several honors, including the German Film Critics Award. He also earned the German Film Award for Lost Children and gained international recognition for The Green Wave. His latest film, Seven Days, marks the Hollywood debut of Iranian actress Vishka Asayesh.

Samadi Ahadi and Frank Geiger from Little Dream Entertainment revealed, “For us, ‘Felix the Brave’ is a real passion project. While making it, our team was falling in love with each of our adorable characters, giving us great hope that our valued audiences, children and their families all around the world will feel the same.”

Solveig Langeland, managing director of Sola, said, “The film invites children and families into a richly imagined miniature world of beetles, fleas, and wild forest creatures – in the tradition of the beloved animated classic ‘A Bug’s Life,’”.

Bringing the film to life is a veteran creative pairing: animation director Timo Berg (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Despicable Me 3, The Grinch, Sing, Pets) and character designer Peter Oedekoven (Stitch Head, Chickenhare and the Secret of the Groundhog, Grand Prix of Europe, The Amazing Maurice).
