From September 10–20, TIFF welcomes audiences to a celebration of cinema with 58 gala and special presentation features representing almost 30 countries.
Highlights include Peter Farrelly’s I Play Rocky, tracing the development and production of Rocky (1976); Chris Rock’s Misty Green, led by Rock alongside Rosalind Eleazar and Adam Driver; and Yeon Sang‑ho’s Paradise Lost, each offering distinct voices to the festival stage.
On September 19, TIFF’s closing gala shines a spotlight on Yan Lanouette Turgeon’s Villeneuve: The Rise of a Legend, a world‑premiere drama chronicling the beginnings of Canada’s beloved racing hero Gilles Villeneuve.
International premieres feature Nguyen Phan Quang Binh’s Spirit Guardians: The Last Secret of the First Emperor, a Vietnamese historical action epic, and The Debut, an American musical comedy written, co‑produced, and directed by BAFTA winner Jesse Eisenberg
