SNL’s Marcello Hernandez brings two stand‑up shows home to South Florida this November—Spanish on Friday, Nov. 27, and English on Saturday, Nov. 28, both 8 PM at Hard Rock Live.
Good news for Marcello’s fans and SNL viewers: Hard Rock Live held a social media presale on Tuesday, July 14. One day later, on Wednesday, July 15, tickets officially became available for fans to purchase.
And the good news doesn’t end there — admission to both the Spanish and English shows starts at only $53.
But wait—there’s one important rule! If you’re someone who loves checking your phone, you’ll have to take a break during the show. All mobile phones must be switched to vibrate and placed inside a locked Yondr pouch. You can keep the pouch with you throughout the performance, but it won’t be unlocked until the show ends.
Don’t worry, though—if an emergency comes up, simply head to a designated assistance area, where staff will unlock your Yondr pouch so you can access your phone.
On July 24, Marcello steps into the spotlight as Nick in Netflix’s comedy 72 Hours, sharing the screen with Grammy‑nominated star Kevin Hart—who reprises his fan‑favorite role as Anthony ‘Fridge’ Johnson from Jumanji.
Although Marcello Hernández, 28, was raised in Miami, he comes from a rich multicultural background. His mother, Isabel Cancela, is Cuban, while his father, Joaquin Hernández, is Dominican, and his grandfather was Spanish. During his youth, he also trained with the Dominican Republic U15 National Team.
In 2022, before joining Saturday Night Live, Marcello Hernández was selected as a New Face of Comedy at the prestigious Just for Laughs.
That same year, he was cast in NBC’s iconic sketch comedy series as its first Gen Z cast member, where he has since become a fan favorite with recurring characters like Domingo, Grant, and The Movie Guy, each known for their unique humor and quirky charm.
