
Directed and written by Guillermo del Toro, Pan’s Labyrinth (El laberinto del fauno) is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a restored version set to screen at Cannes Classics, with stars Sergi López and Maribel Verdú.
It was not the first time—on 27 May 2006, Cannes witnessed the debut of this iconic dark fantasy, Pan’s Labyrinth, greeted by a thunderous 22‑minute standing ovation.

Guillermo del Toro’s fascination with fantastical creatures since childhood, where he often drew demons in their school books and in notebooks.
